Terms of Service

These Terms govern use of docphotoai.com, an electronic service providing document photo generation.

§1. Definitions

Service, the docphotoai.com website and its functionality. Provider, fotododowodu.pl, registered in Wroclaw, Poland (NIP: 854-209-84-07). Customer, a natural person with full legal capacity using the Service. Deliverable, paid generation of a document photo based on material uploaded by the Customer.

§2. Scope

The Provider delivers, electronically, the preparation of a document photo from material supplied by the Customer. The service performs automated algorithmic processing (background removal, quality enhancement, dimension fitting) and delivers a print-ready digital file.

§3. Contract formation

The contract is concluded when the Customer completes payment. Payments are handled by Stripe Payments Europe Ltd. Accepted methods: BLIK, Przelewy24, Visa, Mastercard. Price: 14.99 PLN per photo, one-time payment. The Provider does not store payment card data.

§4. Performance

The service is delivered immediately after payment confirmation, in approximately 30 seconds. The resulting file is available for download from a temporary account for 24 hours. The Customer is responsible for saving the file to their device, after 24 hours the file is permanently deleted.

§5. Technical requirements

Using the Service requires a modern web browser with JavaScript enabled, an internet connection, and a device with a camera or the ability to upload a photo (JPEG or PNG, maximum 10 MB).

§6. Acceptance guarantee

The Provider guarantees compliance of the generated photo with technical requirements published on ICAO Doc 9303 (resolution, dimensions, background, face position). If a government office rejects the photo due to technical non-compliance, the Customer is entitled to a full refund. Refunds are issued within 14 days of the report, to the original payment method.

§7. Complaints

Complaints may be submitted to kontakt@docphotoai.com. A complaint should include a description of the issue and the order identifier. The Provider will respond within 14 days.

§8. Right of withdrawal

Pursuant to Art. 38(13) of the Polish Consumer Rights Act, the right of withdrawal does not apply to digital content delivered before the withdrawal period expires, when performance began with the Customer's explicit consent. By accepting these Terms, the Customer consents to immediate performance upon payment and acknowledges the loss of the right of withdrawal. The money-back guarantee (§6) remains unaffected.

§9. Intellectual property

The Customer retains full rights to the uploaded photo and to the generated file. The Provider claims no rights to the Customer's material. The Customer warrants that they hold the right to use the uploaded photo.

§10. Liability

The Provider is liable for conformity of the service with these Terms under the Polish Civil Code and Consumer Rights Act. The Provider is not liable for defects arising from poor-quality source material (low resolution, poor lighting, blurred source).

§11. Final provisions

Matters not covered by these Terms are governed by Polish law, in particular the Civil Code, the Consumer Rights Act, and the Act on the Provision of Electronic Services. Disputes are resolved by the court having jurisdiction over the Provider's seat, without prejudice to the consumer's right to seek adjudication before a court having jurisdiction over their place of residence. Consumers may also use the EU ODR platform (ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr).
